We strongly support the Humane Society of Vero Beach and sincerely thank our many clients who feel the same way.
Tell us you saw this photo of The Crew and we'll donate 10 percent
of your purchase to the Humane Society. Woof! Mason, Matilda,
Mick, and Mollie Mason is most recent addition and is still in the
knot-head stage. But so much fun just the same. Matilda is
my rally obedience queen. Mick (a.k.a. the gentleman) has recently
passed and is waiting patiently for me. Mollie gives back to the
community by therapy dogging it at a local Alzheimer unit one day per
week. Oh, yes. The humanoid would be my Honey! |

In the days of old when time was still new, a young maiden lived in the
tropical paradise where fragrant flowers and sweet woods scented the air
with the essence of happiness. Bananas, mangos, pineapple, coconut,
and citrus of all varieties provided bountiful feasts. Gentle ocean
waters danced while the high, blue sky above smiled. This land was a
secret and outsiders who found it generally stumbled into it by accident.
Many, however, found it at the end of a long perilous journey.
You see, the European trade route ran along the shoreline of this
beautiful land. Most of the time, these magnificent ships with their
cargos heavy with gold and silver, passed right by with not even a clue
that paradise was so close. That is, until Mother Nature decided
they should visit. Sea storms more vicious than any sailor had ever
imagined whipped the ocean into such frenzy, no Captain could keep his
ship or men from peril. Many treasures and men were lost to the sea.
Fortunate souls were found almost lifeless on the beaches strewn with last
remaining signs of a ship's existence. Days passed.
The shipless sailors, though healed, were very saddened by their lost
ships. The young maiden walked the once again beautiful seashore.
Finding bits and pieces of the sunken ship's silver and gold coins.
She collected them along with beautiful and delicious items from her
paradise and placed them in a basket. When presented to the
downtrodden sailors, smiles warmed their faces and their eyes shown bright
once again.
Whatever the reason, the unexpected gift is often the best way to say
I'm thinking of you. Seacoast carries on this tradition by creating
gift baskets that bring smiles and happiness, and always, a few chocolate
gold coins...in memory of the young maiden. |
